Our Commitments to a Smaller Footprint

We build gear for people who explore the outdoors—but protecting nature matters far beyond our playgrounds. Climate change is reshaping winters, ecosystems, and everyday life. At MOX, sustainability is a ongoing effort to reduce our impact on the environment: smarter materials, less waste, products that last, and giving back. We’re improving every season and we’ll keep sharing our progress.

Goggle frame made from Bio-TPU
Low-impact materials
We carefully select what goes into our products, prioritizing recycled and plant-based materials wherever possible—without compromising durability or optical performance. One highlight: our goggle frames are made from Bio-TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane derived in part from plant sources). Compared to fossil-based TPU, Bio-TPU reduces reliance on petroleum and lowers lifecycle CO₂ while maintaining the flexibility and cold-resistance you need in alpine conditions.
Glassine Bag
Sustainable packaging, less plastic
Our shipping boxes use recycled and responsibly sourced paper fibers. Inside, we’ve cut down on single-use plastics by switching from plastic polybags to glassine—paper instead, 100% FSC-certified, recyclable, and biodegradable. It protects your gear in transit and shrinks the plastic waste that would otherwise end up in the bin.
MOX Infinity II goggles in snow
Products designed to last
The most sustainable product is the one you keep using. From robust frames to protective coatings, our gear is built for seasons of intensive use. Our sunglasses and goggles always come with protective cases and microfibre pouches to help extend their lifetime. If a lens gets scratched, then you can buy replacement lenses instead of discarding your goggles or sunglasses.
1% of the Planet logo
Give Back
As a member of 1% for the Planet, we commit to donating at least 1% of our annual revenue to environmental causes. With every MOX product sold, you’re helping protect the playgrounds we love — from snowy peaks to forest trails and wild rivers.
Continuous improvement
We don’t assume we’ve “arrived.” Every season, every design cycle, we look for ways to do better. We welcome feedback from you—our community—to keep pushing the bar higher.
